Bad credit? Start your loan request
Begin an online loan request for the expense you need to cover. Fresh Hope Financial is a loan-request service, not a lender; a request does not guarantee an offer or approval.

Your request and the lender’s decision are separate steps
You can start your request now. These stages explain what to look for as you move through the process; they are not a checklist you must complete to use the form.
Keep a copy of any offer and the lender’s contact details. Compare the terms you actually receive rather than assuming a bad-credit label comes with a particular rate, amount or approval standard.
Start your request
Open the request form and read the notices presented with it. Provide accurate information and distinguish required fields from optional contact preferences.
Understand any lender review
If a lender considers your request, confirm who is reviewing it, what information they need and whether another application or credit authorization is involved.
Consider an actual offer
Check the cash you would receive, the total you would repay and the payment dates. An offer is a separate decision from submitting a request.
Accept only terms you understand
Identify the lender and the repayment contact before agreeing. Keep the agreement so you can refer to the same terms later.
Know which credit review is being discussed
A soft inquiry does not affect credit scores. A hard inquiry can affect them. The name of this page does not establish which inquiry a particular lender would use.
Ask for the answer at the stage where authorization is requested. A quick form or a preliminary response does not, by itself, establish a soft-only process.
| Question | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Who would review credit? | The organization making the inquiry, rather than only the website displaying the form. |
| What type of inquiry is it? | Whether it is described as soft or hard, and what authorization covers it. |
| When could it happen? | Whether it accompanies the request, a later lender application or accepting an offer. |
| What happens after funding? | Whether payment activity may be reported and which organization handles questions. |
Basis: CFPB: Credit inquiries.
A payment that fits your budget is a different test
Approval and repayment room answer different questions. Use dependable income and the bills that fall before your following income date.
For a planning example, $1,000 of income minus $760 of essential expenses and $90 of existing payments leaves $150 before a new loan payment. A $180 payment leaves a $30 shortfall; a $100 payment leaves $50. These are arithmetic examples, not loan terms or an approval threshold.
One payment due
Put the entire amount due beside the income available for that date. Leave room for essentials until the next income arrives.
Several payments due
Map each payment across the full schedule. A smaller first payment does not show the total commitment.
Compare what an offer would actually cost
Use the figures in the lender’s offer. Leave a missing figure unanswered until the lender explains it; do not treat a blank fee as zero.
If the product is an installment loan, review the payment schedule as well as its overall cost. Ask which charges would remain if you paid earlier and what could happen if a payment is late.
| Offer detail | Why it belongs in your comparison |
|---|---|
| Lender and product | Identifies who is extending credit and which agreement applies. |
| Amount received | Shows the cash available for your expense after any withheld charges. |
| APR and charges | Helps you compare the stated borrowing cost; check fees separately too. |
| Payment amounts and dates | Shows how the obligation fits your income cycle. |
| Total repayment | Lets you compare the whole commitment instead of a single payment. |
Read the consent attached to your request
Before submitting, check who may receive your information and how you may be contacted. Review the privacy and credit-authorization notices shown in the request flow; ask for clarification if the recipient or purpose is unclear.
A lender’s later offer has its own terms. Keep the request notices and the agreement separately so you can identify the organization responsible for a question.
Match the request to your expense and your deadline
Base your requested amount on the remaining expense, not on the largest number a form might allow. Compare any amount offered with the cash you need; a smaller offer may leave part of the bill unpaid.
Check whether the actual product and amount are available in your state. If the bill is due soon, ask about the remaining verification, funding method and usable-funds date. A credit decision and money in your account are separate events.
Choose your next step from the actual result
If you receive an offer, take time to check its payment and contact details. If no suitable offer is available, consider whether the expense can be reduced or the bill’s payment date discussed with the creditor.
For a problem with an existing loan, contact the lender using the agreement. Keep the relevant messages, dates and payment records. The CFPB accepts complaints about covered financial products, including personal and payday loans.
How the worksheet works
The topic buttons organize questions about credit inquiries, income, repayment and consent. They do not access a credit report or score your application. Tick boxes are temporary notes, not eligibility or lender-verification results.
Inputs and notes stay in this page. The worksheet does not send a loan request, connect to a bank or save personal information. Opening the separate request form is your choice.
Bad credit loans: your questions
Can I start a request if I have bad credit?
You can open the request form and review its terms. Your credit description does not establish eligibility or guarantee that a lender will make an offer.
Will this request use a soft credit check?
This page does not promise a soft-only process. Read the credit authorization presented in the form and confirm the inquiry type and stage with the organization requesting it.
Do I need to enter my credit score in the worksheet?
No. The worksheet organizes questions about the process; it does not need your score and does not estimate approval.
What if the payment looks too large?
Compare it with your essential expenses and existing obligations over the full repayment period. You do not need to accept an offer that does not fit your budget.
Will a loan improve my credit?
No score improvement is promised. Confirm the lender’s reporting practices and evaluate the repayment commitment without relying on a future score change.
